Description: During this workshop teachers will have the opportunity to
discuss and participate in a series of frameworks-linked biology labs and activities. The emphasis will be on hands-on, bodily kinesthetic
labs. Possible adjustments for labs due to budget, time or physical
restraints will also be addressed. Participants will leave with electronic and
paper versions of all material discussed. Additionally, time permitting,
a series of framework related interest-grabbers or hooks will be briefly
discussed and modeled for the participants. If you are looking for innovative and effective ways to enhance
your biology or life science class without spending a lot of money, come to
this workshop.
