Using Autograph in the Mathematics Classroom

Description:

Autograph is a Dynamic Graphing Software package for PC’s. The program can be used in mathematics classes from Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus and AP Statistics. Classroom teachers can use this program to create professional looking worksheets and assessments or as a presentation tool in presenting topics that students have difficulty visualizing. This workshop will focus on topics and activities that teachers can use in preparing for the mathematics MCAS exam. The morning will be spent learning the navigational tools of the program and investigating the graphing capabilities of the program. The afternoon will focus on the Statistical and Geometry features of the program.

Embedded into the whole program will be using the various utilities to create worksheets and assessments.
