Using the CBR (Calculator Based Ranger) and TI - 84 to study Linear and Quadratic Functions

Description:            This workshop will feature the CBR /TI 84 to collect data  and analyze linear and quadratic functions. Participants will collect data using the Hiker program, Dist - Match application , and the Ball Drop application. The TI - 84 lists, data analysis, and graphing capabilities will be used to develop mathematical models. Some non - CBR problems will also be discussed. Participants will leave with lessons and activities ready to use in their classroom. Many of these lessons work well in a long block teaching schedule.
