Description: Teachers will use many new and favorite manipulatives as they investigate math concepts selected from several of the grade three to five Massachusetts’ Mathematics Number Sense Learning Standard. Using many past mathematics MCAS questions as starting points, we will investigate varied manipulatives to teach the same concepts. We will also investigate the math behind the math to help deepen teachers’ own math concepts. Handouts for future reference will be provided.
Fee: $ 45 for Member Districts $175 for non-Member Districts
