Description:
Investigate connections between water and energy, and
how these connections impact wildlife as we explore how to use inquiry
investigations in your middle school classroom. Uncover relationships
between water density, salinity, and temperature. Examine how these
relationships affect food webs and daily/yearly migrations of birds, plankton
and other wildlife. Engage in hands-on, minds-on inquiry-based science
activities you can take back to your classroom. Learn about classroom and field
trip resources available to you through local MITS partners. Connections to the
state frameworks and assessment tools will also be discussed.
