Description:
This workshop is targeted for classroom teachers, special education teachers and aides who work with at-risk middle school students in grades 7 and 8. The focus of this workshop will be to introduce technology approaches that address specific math strands, and provide support material that is appropriate to address these concepts. The main focus will be on working with students to visualize the mathematics skills encompassed in the state frameworks.
Participants will receive a 30 Day License to Autograph to help in visualizing Algebra topics and information on how to access Geogebra a free geometry program for visualizing Geometry Topics. Please bring a laptop if available (not required).
